The instructors at West Seneca Music Center are highly qualified teachers. To insure that they maintain a steady level of income, we have adopted a policy used by nearly all other types of instructional institutions such as dance studios, gymnastic centers, nursery schools and karate schools. We feel this is the only way we can guarantee our teachers a steady level of income. Since our instructors are independent contractors who merely rent space here for teaching, their expenses do not change if a student misses his or her lesson. Please be advised of the following policy:
All lessons must be paid for regardless of attendance or reasons for a missed lesson. The instructor will try to reschedule when given enough notice as their schedule permits.
Arrangements must be made 2 weeks prior to a foreseen absence such as an extended leave of absence, vacation, or foreseen job related circumstances.
If lessons are cancelled by the instructor, students are not required to pay. Lesson payments may be adjusted for planned instructor absences.
